We are representing our Client in the recruitment of a Pre- School Room ECT based in North Sydney. As the Pre-School Room ECT, you will lead the educational program for the pre-school age group within a boutique 64-place, exceeding-rated, not-for-profit service. You’ll collaborate closely with a warm and passionate team to design and deliver a play-based curriculum that inspires curiosity, creativity, and confidence in children preparing for school. This not-for-profit service has a strong reputation for its high-quality practice, supportive leadership team, and community-focused approach. The pre-school room is well-resourced, with a small group of children and a genuine focus on relationships, professional reflection, and exceeding-quality outcomes. You’ll be supported by an experienced Director who values innovation, professional autonomy, and wellbeing. Key Perks and Finer Details Salary: $41- $48 an hour super (negotiable dependent on experience) Full-time, permanent position- Feb 2026 Start Service Size: Boutique 64-place, exceeding-rated service Location: North Sydney – easily accessible by public transport Not-for-profit organisation with a strong community focus Paid professional development and opportunities for career growth Key Responsibilities Lead the educational program for the pre-school room, ensuring alignment with the EYLF and NQS Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the wider community Foster a collaborative and reflective team culture focused on continuous improvement Maintain compliance and documentation in line with the service’s exceeding standards Support school readiness through engaging, child-led, inquiry-based learning experiences What You’ll Need Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved) Previous experience as an ECT or Room Leader in a pre-school or early learning environment Strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and preschool best practices Excellent communication and collaboration skills Current WWCC, First Aid, CPR, Child Protection, and Anaphylaxis training Why Join Our Client?
